  • The remaining cards are arranged in a draw pile & placed face down on the table. To make a discard pile, turn the top card in this pile face up. When drawing cards, players alternate between the draw and discard piles, trying to create valid sets (three or four cards of the same rank) and sequences (three or more consecutive cards of the same suit). The scoring system of 23 Rummy, which frequently assigns distinct point values to various cards, is one of its distinctive features.
