There was a Scandi clean sweep at WSOPC Tallinn on Wednesday as Nordic players claimed all three ring events on the busiest day yet of the festival.
It was a royal result for Finland's Mathias Siljander, the former Kings of Tallinn Main Event champion, who added a WSOPC ring to his resume by winning the €1,100 PLO4/5 title, and broke the 7-figure mark on his career earnings in the process. Meanwhile, fellow Finn Toni Niinivaara would emerge victorious from the record-breaking €555 NLH, topping a massive field to earn his first ring title too.
Also adding his name to the honor roll was Norway's David Vinaya, who secured his second career ring by taking down the €5,000 NLH, after his first came online in 2021 when he won the $100 Hundred Stack.
The action didn’t stop there. Days 1b and 1c of the WSOPC Tallinn Main Event packed the halls of OlyBet’s Olympic Park Casino, with hundreds of hopefuls battling for a bag and a shot at the €1 million guaranteed prize pool. Ring Event #8 also kicked off, the €1,100 8-Game, with 16 players returning today to play down to a winner. €22,390 and a WSOP Paradise package to the Bahamas await the champion.
As we move towards the climax of this ten-day poker celebration, the festival is still firing on all cylinders. The final two Main Event flights, Day 1d and 1e, get underway today along with the usual glut of satellites and side events across the Estonian capital.

Autumn 2024 Kings of Tallinn champion Mathias Siljander crossed a million dollars in career earnings after conquering a tough final table to win the €1,100 PLO 4/5 for €41,000 and claim the sixth ring event of the week at WSOPC Tallinn.
In a final table packed with Finnish talent, Siljander defeated fellow countryman Aleksi Lindholm heads-up and denied Georgia's Andria Gogelidze back-to-back PLO titles in Tallinn this week. Gogelidze was highlighted as one to watch prior to the event and once again went deep, as did the always impressive Dutch player Frank Visser.
Siljander topped a 185-player field on his road to victory, overturning Gogelidze’s commanding chip lead heading into the final table to secure his maiden WSOP Circuit ring.

In the highest buy-in event of the festival, it was talented Norwegian player David Vinaya who took down the €5,000 NLH 6-Max, adding a second WSOPC ring to his collection after previously winning the 2021 Hundred Stack online.
Vinaya earned every cent of his €94,280 first-place prize, grinding it out until sunrise in the Estonian capital during a marathon session that saw him defeat Latvia's Ritvars Cekalins heads-up.
The six-handed final table had a truly international feel, with players traveling from across the globe to compete in Tallinn. Spain, China, Ukraine, and multiple northern European nations were all represented as the €5K delivered one of the most competitive lineups of the week.

After a record field of 744 players, the largest for a €555 event in Estonia, it was Finland's Toni Niinivaara who was left standing at the end to claim the huge €62,100 first-place prize, a ring, and a Ticket to Paradise.
Latvia’s Raivis Pucurs would enter the day as chip leader, however, could only manage the bronze medal with the Netherlands' Roy Van Der Reijnst rounding off the podium places.
Niinivaara claimed the seventh ring of the week here in Tallinn, also earning the distinction of winning the largest €555 buy-in event ever held in this poker hotspot.
