Head to Kings Resort, Rozvadov, in June, and you could become part of poker history. The Festival Series calls Kings Resort home from June 6-16, and among its 72 events and satellites is The Hendon Mob Championship. Martin "Franke" von Zweigbergk, founder of The Festival Series, has slapped a €300,000 guarantee on €150 buy-in The Hendon Mob Championship (THMC), making it the largest-ever THMC event since its inception in 2018.
Last month, the THMC, which was part of the 2025 Irish Open, set a new attendance record when 663 entrants purchased 225 re-entries. Those 888 entries resulted in a €268,398 prize pool; the Kings Resort edition will be even bigger.
Slovakia's Michal Havavka came away with €37,348, the trophy, and a trip to THMC Cape Town later in the year. Havavka's haul would have been greater had he not struck a deal with runner-up Charlie Waters, who claimed a €40,000 payout.
The Festival Series in Rozvadov edition of the THMC kicks off the series on June 6 with the first of six flights. Day 1E, on June 8, has a turbo blind structure, then there's a Flip and Go Pineapple Day 1 later on the same day f you really want to gamble your way to Day 2.
Day 2 also takes place on June 8 and will see one lucky player walk away with the bulk of the €300,000 guaranteed prize pool. The THMC winner also receives a €2,000 package to the Cape Town event that serves as the season finale later in 2025.

If you have expanded the table above, you have likely been blown away by the sheer number of tournaments you get your teeth into during The Festival Series Rozvadov. As with previous The Festival Series stops, players have the chance to test their skills across a wide range of poker formats and variants, compete in the Cash Game Challenge, and even enter a Blackjack tournament.
The record-breaking THMC Rozvadov aside, the largest guarantee of the series is reserved for the €550 buy-in Main Event. Boasting a €500,000 guarantee, the tournament requires at least 1,000 entrants. Eight Day 1s are available, including a turbo-structured Day 1G on June 15, the same day a Flip and Go Crazy Pineapple flight occurs. Surviving players reconvene on June 16 for Day 2, with the third and final day's action scheduled for 1:00 p.m. local time on June 16.
When The Festival was last in Rozvadov in June 2024, it too featured a €500,000 guarantee on its €550 Main Event's prize pool. The 989 entrants left a €25,000 deficit, so keeping the guaranteed amount the same is commendable.
Bulgaria's Presiyan Tsvetanov is the reigning champion, having defeated Czechia's Michal Riczak heads-up to claim the €90,350 top prize. Expect similar, if not larger, prizes this time around.
