As they draw and discard cards, players try to form runs—three or more consecutive cards of the same suit—or melds—sets of three or four cards of the same rank. After constructing a legitimate meld, a player can place it on the table & keep adding to it as the game progresses. Taking the Game. The round concludes and points are totaled when one player goes out, or discards all of their cards.
