WPT500 Day 1 players receive a 50,000 starting stack for their $530 buy-in, with late registration open for the first 14 levels. Those levels last 12 minutes (blind levels are reduced in the turbo, last chance, and final call flights), with blinds starting at 125/250.
Up to five re-entries are permitted per flight. Should you fire a bullet during the 14th level but before late registration closes, blinds will be 2,500/5,000, meaning you have ten big blinds to work with.
Each Day 1 ends when only 17% of the field remains or if the 23rd blind level is reached. Players with chips in front of them progress to Day 2 at 8:30 p.m. ET on February 9, when the $400,000+ prize pool can be won!
