The way you buy a ticket for the Mahzooz lottery is unlike other lotteries. To play, you must buy one Product worth AED 35.00 through the official website. The product you buy is something that is typically donated to help those in need.
For each product you buy/donate (Al Emarat bottled water, for example) you are granted one entry into the draw. After selecting the number of products you would like to buy, you are then presented with a play grid which allows you to select your own numbers from, or opt for a Quick Pick. Buying one product activates one play grid, two products activates two play grids, and so on.
Mahzooz offers a higher starting jackpot of AED 20,000,000 to be won every week. Each drawing has a total of three cash prize tiers for matching between three and five of the winning numbers.
The raffle draw takes place alongside the Grand draw and gives out one prize of AED 1,000,000 to one lucky player. The raffle only picks out a number code on tickets that have been bought, meaning that the prize is guarnateed to be won by someone who has entered each and every week. Each week the name and nationality of the winner will be published on the results page, along with the raffle ID that won.
If you've won a prize, you have 365 days to withdraw your winnings from your online account. For withdrawals of less than AED 300, there is a fee of AED 10 if you are withdrawing to a UAE account, or AED 20 for withdrawals to accounts outside the UAE. Fees are not charged on withdrawals over AED 300.
