The object of the game is for players to arrange a certain number of cards—usually 13—into valid combinations before their rivals do. One of two possible combinations is a sequence, which is made up of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, or a set, which is made up of three daman apkor four cards of the same rank but different suits. As players draw and discard cards in an attempt to complete their hands, the game demands strategic thinking and meticulous planning. Each player in Rummy Ares draws a card from the deck or the discard pile, after which they discard one card from their hand. The game goes on until one player declares "Rummy" after successfully combining their cards into legal combinations. The game also involves observation and bluffing, since players have to keep their own tactics hidden while keeping an eye on their opponents' moves.
