My colorful body is a two-person collaboration by multi-disciplinary artist Sivan Lavie and musician Nicolette Hsu, from Tel Aviv, who were invited to create work in the Gepaekausgabe in Glarus. The artists had 10 days to work in the space before opening the exhibition to visitors. The show features an eight-track music soundtrack: a collaborative effort between Nicolette’s ethereal, forest psychedelic music and Sivan’s visceral and image-packed poetry and voice. The work was inspired by the artists’ exploration of Swiss nature and life, with particular interest in color, sound, the grounding force of nature, humor, and feelings in the body, walking from fear into trust. In addition to the music, the show also includes drawings, paintings, installation and video.
